in hollywood this morning (monday) been here 2 days. went to a theme park saturday which was quality..had about 10 big rollercoaster there. one of them 'goliath' had 2 massive drops and the a 3 turn speed corner that made us all nearly black out!!! there were a fe more goodens, 1 like air at alton towers, and 1 like nemesis. it was a nice and sunny day too so we were there al day. today we're heading off down the coast back to the beach (ive become a fan of beachs es since ive been here, rather than big cities) the hostel we rolled up at 2 days ago was an eye opener...our room smelt of weed, there were rappers rapping in the courtyard, and our room was full of homeboys!!!! we survived tho!

on a more serious note...today is a sad day, a founder travelling companion has gone awol, lost somewhere along the way, no where to be seen or found again..thats right, my pack away towell has gone, like the scene from castaway where tom hanks looses wilson, i searched high and low but with no success...you will be missed travel towel...
the time is 10.30 am, we're leaving the hostel in a moment and heading to south beach...xx

Well Ryan, I can't believe you have acted so irresponsibly and lost your buddy. Sure one of your roomies hasn't swiped it as it sounds as though you are mixing wih some strange folk over there? Would you like me to "FedEx" another one out to you?
On hearing your plight I felt compelled to post a comment, albeit slow, one fingered typing with my right hand as I have dislocated my left shoulder playing hockey - bugger!
