Today started off with news of Liverpool win against Arsenal, get in. Im now adding my newest photos as I type so they'll be up by the time you read this.
We spent the last day of the bongo tour in Te Anau in the coldest hostel on the planet! Te Anau is another small town with little to offer besides a lake and a few mountains to look at so we drove to the South West Coast to a place called Milford Sounds to do a boat trip out there. That was really good. Again, lots of mountains to look at, but it was in a massive vally and there were a few waterfalls and some wildlife to visually stimulate us. We went out to the Tasman sea that separates New Zealand from Oz and then cruised back.
The last leg of the trip was Te Anau back to Queenstown along a long and winding road. We spent last night (Tuesday) with a bottle of gin, a bottle of vodka and a few beers, playing ring of fire and arrogance before heading into town for our final night out with the bongo crew. Everynight in Qtown is busy so it was a pretty good one and as usual we had a good laugh. At the end of the evening we went for a fergburger...THE best burger you can imagine, and then said our goodbyes :(
The plan is to spend the next few days chilling out. We have the Lord of the Rings trilogy @ our hostel so gonna watch that to kill some time and to see if we can recognise any of the scenery.
