Our 2 days in Franz Josef were really good. We did a full day glacier walk one of the days which was really good. We had to walk an hour or so to get onto the ice but once we were there we spent a the day trecking around the crevice's and caves in the ice. We split off into groups of 11 and we had some good people off our bus in ours so we had a good laugh on the way along with our guide Bruce!!
We left Franz Josef for Queenstown and arrived here yesterday (Tuesday). On the way we stopped off at puzzle world which was really good. The had a massive maze there (we got lost and didn't finish it) and loads of rooms with different optical illusions in there and stuff - had a room where balls rolled uphill and water flowed uphill too, very strange.
Qtown is the adventure capital so there's loads to do and loads of people about. We organized pub golf for last night which went down a right treat. For those of you who don't know the rules: 9 pubs/holes. 9 drinks, each with a par (E.g. Guinness, par 5) You have to drink the drink in as few gulps as poss to get a good score! We got the whole bus to do it so there were 35 or us trecking around the town. Had different rules for different pubs (no talking, no showing your teeth, smiling all the time), and different action from bar to bar (hopping, ballroom dancing, crawling) so we made a bit of a scene. I have photo evidence from the night so I will get them uploaded asap!!!!
We've had loads of sound people on the bus, everyone gets on with everyone, so it's really good and we've had some good nights out together and some good laughs along the way.
