This is the 1st entry on my new Compaq Laptop...my first purchase with my earnings! It'll make getting on the internet alot easier for updates here and on uploading photo's (tho saying that sat here now, the connection here is snail pace slow, it'd be quicker for me to develop the photo's myself and fly them over door to door).
Monday saw me reunited with my iPod after a 3 month absence which was a happy day!!! Ive got iTunes up and running so i can manage my music, keep it up to date, and download new stuff, so all in all, aeverything is fine and dandy in the world again.
In the final countdown at work now, 2 weeks to go and counting till we're out of here. Been working 70+ hours a week adding a few more strings to my bow; cleaning the judo blue walls in the rooms, taking down and puting up curtains, scrubbing the bathrooms, digging up a flagpole, cleaning out the yard and running all the rubbish to the tip, prepping food in the kitchen, running the TAB betting, waiting on.....
Have been getting up at 7.30 most mornings so Im looking forward to a few lie ins once we leave and a few lazy days chilling out and doing sweet F.A!
We had some free drinks for staff last week which went down well. It started with a few beers watching the final day of the premiership, and ended drinking kava with the Fijian head chef in the early hours!!!
