Our last few night were spent on the wana taki mini cruiser and beachcomber island. We saw the same group of people every now and again so managed to make a few good friend who we spent alot of time with, (some english, some norwegians, some sweedish) The wana taki had the luxury of air con dorms and carpetted floors, doesnt sound that appealing but after sand and tiles for 2 weeks, the soft touch of carpet between your aching feet is a pleasure to be hold! They also had a DVD player so we spent the day watching moveis (and the night, as usual, playing cards!)
Our last 2 night we geared up for beachcomber, known as party island, and renowned for its reputation as the best in fiji we weren't dissapointed! Again, our norwegian companions were there so our little crew hit the bar! we spent the 1st night drinking way to much, and playing several new drinking games, fuzzy duck, 21, slam to name a few (ill teach you the rules when im back) This was follwed by a day of rest...a hangover and the fiji heat is a combo id wish on nobody, a bite to eat at dinner (a BBQ which was mmmmm!) and then round 2 of the customary drinks, cards and drinking games, and a spot of cultural exploration learning a few norwegian phrases!...the only 1 that springs to mind is Boonski (pronounced bun-ski, and meaning 'down in 1'...very appropriate). They organised a crab race too, 30 grabs. 1 winner. total prize money of $120. We bid and won a crab, our hopes of the prize money relied on crab number 14, Bruce Lee from China. He was terrible and the prize money sliped through out fingers, like the fiji gold down our necks.

Ryan, where have you been - thought you were a hardened drinker and you've never played fuzzy duck until now?? I'll have you know that I was playing fuzzy duck before you were born laddo. x
