we left san fran yesterday (sunday)..the weather hasn't been that great. had a pretty chilled out time here so far seeing the city. we went to alcatraz today which was good, got to look around the island and go into the prison buildings. we went out last night and tagged along with some girls who we asked where was good to go, they said we could go with them and before we knew it we were in some gay bar! pretty funny end to the evening! even more so because 1 of the girls' mates (who was a girl) looked like a guy that works at the waterfront!!!!
have been making the most of the hostel kitchen, eating like kings we've savoured a chicken stir fry, pasta and a delightful bangers and mash (with beef stew soup as gravy substitute!) bon appetite!
